Responsibilities of Junior Officer

• To ensure implementation of safe equipment usage As per Safe operating procedure

• Melting Fining and Refining To monitor all incoming Fuel and its condition like temp… As per target

• To monitor Melting (Batch Line) and Fining & Refining (Foam Line) As per target

• To monitor all the parameters(tempeartures) to control Batch Line and Foam Line As per target

• To check Flame Condition As per standard

• To maintain back pressure of oil burners and main line pressure of Gas As per standard

• To maintain residual oxygen % As per target

• To monitor Bubbling condition and Pressure of Bubblers As per standard

• To monitor Skimbar and stirrer condition As per standard

• To maintain Canal Temp by operating Secatherm Burner As per target

• To take optical temperature and note down in log book As per target

• To note down all parameters in log book and PC As per schedule

• To know manual firing system As per standard

• To know overall idea about Furnace refractory,its application areawise As per standard

• To know how to hold the molten glass in Furnace during emergency As per emergency and as per standard
