Responsibilities of Kathak Teacher

• Teach Kathak dance techniques, including footwork, hand gestures, body movements, and expressions

• Develop lesson plans and curriculum aligned with students’ skill levels and school objectives

• Conduct regular dance classes, ensuring a balance between theory and practical training

• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment to encourage students’ confidence and creativity

• Organize rehearsals for school performances, competitions, and cultural events

• Assess students’ progress through periodic evaluations and provide constructive feedback

• Incorporate music appreciation and cultural understanding into dance lessons

• Maintain communication with students’ parents or guardians regarding progress and upcoming events

• Stay updated on Kathak dance trends, techniques, and teaching methodologies through professional development opportunities
