Adani Power is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional for the role of General Manager in Haridwar.
The ideal candidate will have 30-40 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field from a recognized university.

• Strategic Project Leadership: Formulate and implement comprehensive project coordination strategies that align with Adani’s corporate vision and sustainable growth objectives.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all phases of thermal project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met with high-quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between engineering, procurement, construction, finance, legal, and quality assurance teams to synchronize efforts and optimize resource utilization.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, suppliers, and community representatives. Prepare detailed project reports, progress updates, and presentations for senior management and board reviews.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address challenges that could impact timelines, costs, or safety. Lead crisis management and resolution activities when necessary.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and monitor comprehensive project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and maximizing cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with local and national regulations, environmental guidelines, and Adani’s internal policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop project teams and emerging leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation. Promote a safe and inclusive workplace aligned with Adani’s values.
• Technology and Innovation Integration: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge project management tools and best practices, supporting digital transformation and operational excellence in project coordination.
• Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations and administration with vendors and subcontractors ensuring alignment with project goals and risk minimization.
• Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Leadership: Embed EHS principles into project execution, ensuring zero harm to people and minimal environmental impact throughout the project lifecycle.
