Responsibilities of Advanced Mech Design Engineer

• Excellent knowledge of Design & development for Circuit protection Family i.e. Distribution Board, MCB, RCCB, RCBO and Isolators.

• Excellent knowledge of BIS Process for licensing and should have good communication skills to make good liaisons with BIS officials.

• Expert knowledge of applicable product standards of switchgear.

• Excellent knowledge of products testing as per product standards.

• Responsible for Product Costing and maintaining BOM.

• Implement Cost reduction Idea through the Brainstorming and technological Evaluation.

• Competitor product benchmarking and Data Analysis

• New product design Creation: Create new design of the product including the 3D data creation, drawings, and modeling.

• Ability to achieve the cost targets in design.

• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for from definition phase through implementation.

• Excellent knowledge of Electrical as well as Mechanical concept to serve Electrical products business.

• Work closely with the cross functional project team for deliverables of each phase.

• Excellent knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Principals to implement to serve Electrical products business.

• Proficient in plastic and sheet metal component design and Assly. integration

• Ability to achieve the cost targets in design.

• Proficient in making 3D models, 2D drawings and assy. Drawings using PRO-e wildfire.

• Knowledge of tolerance, chain of tolerancing & GD&T.

• Knowledge of the design for manufacturability

• Proficient of selection of plastic/metal material as per functional and standard requirement.
