Responsibilities of Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager (Packing Material)

• Procurement: Procurement of Packing Material as per the approved procurement process and as per scheduling

• PO: Preparation of Purchase Proposals

• Inventory Management: Monitoring / Analysis of movement and inventory control and ensure no stock outs.

• Liasoning: Co-ordination with internal customers and external customers for better delivery of PM.

• Optimization: To minimize wastages & delay deliveries of key Raw Material & Packing Material

• Vendor Management: Reduction in PM Cost through sourcing of new vendors, Negotiation with Vendors as per the comparatives, Preparation of PO & Bill passing for above purchases, Responsible for timely payments to suppliers. Sourcing of alternate suppliers, alternate source & alternate grade of Key PM.
