Responsibilities of Shift Incharge

• Ensure execution of production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

• Coordinate with planning and inventory teams to maintain raw material availability.

• Monitor process parameters for extrusion, stranding, and armoring operations.

• Maintain adherence to defined quality standards and customer requirements.

• Supervise production workforce and manage shift schedules effectively.

• Train operators and helpers to improve productivity and discipline.

• Minimize machine breakdowns by coordinating with the maintenance team.

• Track downtime, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure safe, incident-free operations and conduct regular safety discussions.

• Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication & inter-personal skills. Strong operational knowledge of power cable manufacturing, Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma principles.
