Responsibilities of Manager/Sr Manager – Quality (Water Purifier)

• Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.

• Ensure documentation of SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals.

• Incoming Material Inspection

• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and components (e.g., filters, membranes, pumps) to ensure they meet specifications.

• Coordinate with suppliers for corrective actions on non-conforming materials.

• In-Process Quality Control

• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Perform in-line inspections and audits to detect and correct deviations in real-time.

• Final Product Inspection & Testing

• Oversee final product testing for performance, durability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Approve or reject finished goods based on inspection results.

• Root Cause Analysis & CAPA

• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.

• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence.

• Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce defects, improve process efficiency, and enhance product quality.

• Use tools like FMEA, Control Charts, and Process Mapping.

• Training & Awareness

• Conduct training sessions for production and QA teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
