Responsibilities of Deputy Manager – Industrial Engineering

• Conduct time study and line balancing studies to establish operational norms

• Prepare plant layouts based on lean manufacturing concepts

• Estimate manpower requirements based on production norms and sales projections

• Lead MOST/PDMS studies and prepare comparative performance reports

• Perform VSM and spaghetti chart analysis to reduce manufacturing lead time

• Suggest improvements for compact layouts, flow optimization, and low-cost automation

• Prepare and update machine-wise, cell-wise, and product-wise capacity sheets

• Compile and maintain overall plant capacity summaries

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication & inter-personal skills. Strong analytical ability, knowledge of lean manufacturing tools, time and method study, line balancing, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
