How to Check Enrollment Status of Aadhaar / UID

Aadhaar card or Unique Identity card (UID) is a must have card for all Indian residents and is very beneficial to all in day to day financial and other work. It is not like Driving license (DL) which can only be made after 18 years of age, rather it is a card for everyone, even an infant should have an Aadhaar/UID card. Government Aadhaar website has given below definition of Aadhaar card, which is quite self explanatory.

Aadhaar is a 12 digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India.

Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident in India and satisfies the verification process laid down by the UIDAI can enroll for Aadhaar.
